Showing the work “Perpetual Tropical Sunshine” a matrix of warming lightbulbs connected to the internet transferring data to recreate a virtual sun to warm our frozen souls in November.Gustav Hellberg (Sweden)

Kristin Bergaust and Alexis Parra will make a cuban bar at Sting cafe during the opening weekend 16.-19.November.Laura Beloff (Finland)
Will present her mobile sculptures “The Head” and “Fruitfly Farm”. Citizens of Stavanger will wander about the city with artsculptures that automatically takes pictures and sends them to Flickr. The audience can also send SMS to the artworks and receive MMS with current pictures directly to their own mobile phones.Société Réaliste(France)

Performance with Skateboards Morris is making “Musique Concrete” a performance blending skating with music composing will be launched during a local skating competition the 18.November.Jørgen Larsson og Bjørnar Habbestad (Norway)
Commissioned work for Article that iolab has produced with the artists: “TelArt Automat” An installation of “old” public telephones will be placed in the city ringing once in a while and asking for people to leave their message. After the conference we arrange a Lounge/Salon where people can hang out for discussions.
The Bar opens 19.00 and at the same time we open the doors to anyone who wants to join the opening-party.
