New Media Days 6

Jonas Ridderstråle var som altid funky og anstrengende, men underholdende……:

Jonas Ridderstråle:

We are living in the intersection. Creating hyperindividualistic societies.

Singles.

individualism and capitalism are the 2 strong isms – markets are just conversations.

You go to a kareookee bar to imitate someone else. The bizz world is full of kareokee companies, they call it benchmarking. Benchmarking will never take you to the top – only to the middle.

the costumer becomes a dictator. in a hypermarket economy it is really hard to make money

for a short moment in time and space you must be unique….

peak performance is to find the intersection of will and skill and you will end up with a much more diverse work force. Then tranform them into a team, a tribe, a knowlegde and psychology based unit.

A group of diversed people with a common dream = a melting pot.

narrative – stories build the dream. We need to manage our stories to bring the dream alive. The rituals. Who is Jesus or God at your company?

How many of you have made a serious strategic mistake this year? Ikke mange rækker hånden op. De som ikke rakte en hånd i vejret, er dem, der har et virkeligt problem, for det betyder at de ikke eksperimenterer nok = de er ikke innovative nok. We need to create organisations where it is less risky to take more risks.

What does your company look, smell, taste like?

We are creating femisexual societies. Look at the metrosexual man: Beckham waxes his chest and is married to a Spicegirl!!!!!!!

Better to a first version of yourself than a second copy of someone else.

BE THE SURPRISE IN YOUR COMPANY!
